The processing of an IT PYP program application happens after the skill assessment has been approved. The applicant’s work experience and academic qualification are assessed and a designated skill assessment authority relevant to the IT field conducts the assessment. It takes anywhere between 45 to 60 days for the processing to take place.
After the approval, the applicant is enrolled in the IT PYP program and needs to do a 12-month course. The program is conducted over a 44-52 week period. Out of this, a week goes into the Australian Computer Society (ACS) Online Orientation. The next 32 weeks are spent on developing a student’s communication and performance as well as entry and advancements in the Australian workplace. After that, around 10 weeks are spent on internship placement and the rest 13 weeks on a professional environment online course.
